and food aficionados, Mario Cali and Carlo Musumeci. Both hail from backgrounds in the food industry, culminating from numerous years in well known Italian establishments in Brisbane and Sicily. Mario, best known as cofounder of the Italian patisserie, Dolci Sapori, heads the kitchen, creating authentic meals from his grass-roots in Italy and using fresh Australian ingredients. You may remember Carlo as your host in a previous restaurant, and if you do, you will notice that his unforgettable personal service has never been better.
Our menu is based on two principles: simplicity and flavour. Their successful combination is achieved by a selection of quality and seasonal products from local suppliers. Start your meal off with our own Antipasto Marca experience and then choose from an array of traditional pasta and risotto listings and a selection of main dishes and daily specials. Remember to save room for dessert, where Mario's genetic flare shines. The wines on our list are sourced from quality suppliers and have been hand-selected by Carlo to complement Mario's food. Whether you are after a good-value wine from a top regional producer, or something from a well known vineyard, we are sure you will find something that pleases both your palette and your wallet.
